Graduation Time
Had a graduation session with the lovely Briana a few weeks ago. We ran through the gamut of traditional senior style photos and didn't get too crazy. At the end of the day we made some nice images so that's all that matters.
Family Hook Up
My cousin BJ dropped into town a few weeks away and we hooked up for a spontaneous portrait session. I didn't have anything planned so we just kicked it and I snapped some stuff. Fluorescent Adolescent
This session's subject was with the super energetic & bubbly Emma. Emma is one of my youngest friends and like most things reminds me of how old & grumpy I am. This was a Monday afternoon so our locale was pretty tranquil and uncrowded. In typical fashion I asked her to jump around, climb, & lie on top of a variety of objects. (shooting with me also doubles as a de facto form of agility/endurance training) She made it through the gauntlet and we had blast running around on an otherwise boring Monday.
Tropicalia
I met up with Risa during a weekend when she wasn't completely swamped with school work. She spent her summer in Tahiti (it's still up in the air whether or not I'm still jealous) so her inner island girl was fully recharged. We shot these images in October but of course it was still tank top and shorts weather so we decided to keep the tropical vibes going. Maybe we'll actually get some fall weather soon but in the meanwhile it's still fun go to a park & lay out in the grass.
When It's Dark Out
Leo and I shot another dope set a couple of weeks ago. We got some major classic bad boy vibes from this shoot. We started shooting around 5:30 so we had some daylight for a bit before we were able to do some night time images. I had all my gear on hand so we were prepared to play around in the dark. As usual we may or may not have been trespassing while hanging out at this location but that's neither neither here nor there.
